And so it begins
Why the reference to Trogs? Four years ago we had the chance to take a change of direction in life but this meant moving away from family and friends. Caroline has made some great friends in Cornwall who she will keep in touch with but the change did not work out as we had hoped. We decided to change this by planning and doing some big cycling tours over a period of 8 months. By setting off on our travels as the uk autumn and winter draws in and heading off for countries where it will be warm and bright we feel a bit like Trogs emerging into the light!. The blog will hopefully be a convenient way to keep in touch with friends and family as we try and tackle some big cycling journeys over 3 continents. Also, with a bit of luck we will learn a lot too and we can offer this to a wider audience.

Just read your latest blog. Great to hear you are mastering the bikes (remember to ride on the right)! Charlie sends his love - he had lots of fun with Poppy over at Helen & Pete's. They were a hoot together.
